The date is approaching and many of us are looking forward to this not just for the content at the conference itself but because the NDA restrictions will be lifted and we can start to openly discuss SharePoint 2010 with the public. 

For those attending that are SharePoint User Group leaders or looking to start up a User Group I will be hosting a session on Thursday at 9AM in the Lagoon area of the conference center.   No… this isn't some fountain dive and I have no idea where this area is but its what they told me so Lagoon it is.

This will be a joint Microsoft / ISPA event with the bulk of the panelists being seasoned UG Leaders and ISPA Evangelists.  Among those standing with me are:

Olivia Shone (Microsoft Community Lead)

We will be discussing the role of the ISPA in User Groups and how we are helping to foster groups and get them started. We will also use this as an opportunity for the Leads from around the world to voice there opinions and provide feedback to all on what they are having problems with and what they have been successful at accomplishing.  Hopefully all will walk away with some added knowledge to take back to their groups.

I will also be working the HOL area at various times during the week so if you want to come by and test out the labs I would love to meet up with you.
